Season 3 will begin with 14 episodes broadcast before going on a hiatus until March 2011.

The high school soap stars newcomer Shailene Woodley as Amy Juergens, a shy incoming freshman who learns she's pregnant after losing her virginity to popular Ricky Underwood (Daren Kagasoff) at band camp before starting to date boy-next-door Ben (Ken Baumann).Woodley is well known for her laid back, New Age world view and it is much easier to see her getting it on with her local herbalist or crystal vendor than another famous face.
